The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT)- Office of Transit, will be hosting a two-day training conference for program recipients of the Section 5310 Program. The objective of the conference is to provide the necessary training and education on all program and project requirements. Additionally, the conference will allow for agencies to engage and network with various transit providers across the State of Ohio, to discuss ways in which the State can enhance transportation and remove barriers to transportation for Seniors and persons with disabilities. The training sessions within the conference provide the opportunity for transit providers to have more hands-on experience with ODOT staff on the processes for implementing policies and procedures such as Title VI, ADA, procurement, etc. that are following program guidelines and requirements.
