This seven- to eight-hour course includes video, handouts, a hands-on practicum, and a certificate of completion. Training includes both classroom instruction and “hands-on” practice to address ADA regulations and requirements, passenger sensitivity, lift operation, and wheelchair securement.
At least 4 registrants are required to hold the class.
While there is no formal dress code, we ask that you dress appropriately for the weather. Closed-toe shoes are required. Some tasks will be performed outside (rain, snow, sleet, etc.).
