Lucy Bowman (Sherman)
Ms. Lucy Bowman (Sherman) is located in the Dayton Headquarters. She provides support for RLS’ survey and data collection projects and is a Lead Drug and Alcohol Reviewer. She is also a certified instructor for Passenger Assistance Techniques, Defensive Driving, and Pre-Trip Inspections and has completed Substance Abuse Management and Reasonable Suspicion Supervisor training.
Current projects include the distribution, collection, and monitoring of surveys for the Greater Dayton RTA Title VI project. She is also assisting with the Greater Dayton Driver Performance Monitoring project. In addition, Ms. Bowman assisted in the update of a Federal Transit Administration/Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing response handbook. And, as a member of the RLS drug and alcohol compliance review team, she has conducted reviews in California, New York, North Carolina, and Ohio.
Prior to joining RLS, Ms. Bowman was a transit intern at the Greene CATS Public Transit System in Xenia, Ohio where she assisted the General Manager with RFP reviews, driver manifest verifications, reviews and evaluations of Greene CATS’ on-time performance on existing flex routes, and coordinated and assisted with customer requests.
Ms. Bowman completed her Bachelor of Arts in Urban Affairs and earned a Public and Social Services Transportation Certificate from Wright State University.
