Mr. Bubash works out of the Dayton office as RLS’ Technical Analyst. He specializes in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and his recent projects include the MVRPC Coordination and the West Virginia Coordination Plan.
He has a B.S. in Public Administration and Urban and Regional Planning from Miami University (Ohio) and is currently working toward a Master in Public Administration at Wright State University.
Mr. Bubash employed his GIS knowledge to analyze Miami University’s impact on the Oxford housing market. He also mapped and assessed the potential flood risk of infrastructure at Caesar Creek State Park by collecting GPS data points using Trimble R1 units and the ESRI Collector smartphone application, then using ArcGIS Online and ArcMap Desktop to map the GPS points, and then assessing flood risk based on the reservoir levels and various flood levels.
Previously, Mr. Bubash did GIS work as an intern for West Chester Township, Ohio. He also wrote a strategic housing plan for the City of Oxford, Ohio and worked with the Army Corp of Engineers to map infrastructure throughout Caesar Creek State Park in Waynesville, Ohio. Additionally, he has an understanding of the Python programming language.
