Debbie Green

Ms. Green works at the Ohio Department of Transportation in Columbus. She joined RLS after working nine years as budget coordinator for Rural Alaska Community Action Program, Inc. Over her time as budget coordinator, Ms. Green prepared grant and contract financial reports; coordinated development of new and recurring grant and contract budgets; communicated with federal, state, and local funding sources regarding grant/contract transactions; assisted with grantor program audits, monitoring, and site reviews; and assisted the accounting manager with annual audits and reports for Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) projects.

She is well versed in financial federal and state regulations, having monitored and evaluated agencies for compliance with Service Standards of the Ohio Department of Mental Health and the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services; prepared federal, state, and foundation financial reports and proposals; and maintained accurate records of receipts, expenditures, invoices, and accounts payable and receivable.

Ms. Green is an expert financial manager due to her time as budget coordinator as well as a combined 23 years of experience in Ohio as a fiscal officer for Jefferson County Board of Mental Health, Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services; account clerk for Jefferson County Department of Job and Family Services; and grants and contracts coordinator for the Sonoran Institute in Arizona.
