Train-the-Trainer course provides instruction, coaching and feedback to prepare those who will deliver training.
Passenger assistance training is required by many transportation funding sources including TDOT and insurance providers. This two-day course includes video, handouts, a hands-on practicum, and a certificate of completion is designed to give the transit professional the information and knowledge to train drivers. Training includes both classroom instruction and “hands-on” practice to address ADA regulations and requirements, passenger sensitivity, lift operation, and wheelchair securement. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive an instructor packet.

While there is no formal dress code, we ask that you dress appropriately for the weather. Closed-toe shoes are required. Some tasks will be performed outside (rain, snow, sleet, etc.)
